Who am I?

Dear readers,

hiking in Tyrol, my second home
Gibraltar, looking towards the African continent
Pico do Arieiro, Madeira
Who am I? Good question, to be honest. My name is Alexandra (I preferable want to be called Alex though), I love languages, love to travel, bla bla bla – I would not be studying at the ITAT if I did not love languages and everything related to it. So, let us give it another try.

Green Lake, Upper Styria
I am a stereotypical Leo when it comes to zodiac signs and their characteristics (note: I am not into astrology at all, but have a good time reading my daily horoscope in the morning). How are Leos then? They are confident (P), ambitious (P), loyal (P), but also pretentious (P), stubborn (P) and vain (P). No further discussion needed on that for the moment.
Mezquita Córdoba, Spain

Mayan archeological site, Tulum, Mexico
However, all these characteristics – positive as well as negative ones – have brought me to what and who I am now. They made me spend a year abroad as an exchange student, travel the world, study at the Linguistics department and the ITAT. You could even blame them to be responsible for another hobby of mine: bakery. I love spending hours on baking cakes, cupcakes or whatever – and get everyone’s attention whenever something is finished.

Verona, Italy
Schlegeis reservoir with glacier, Zillertal Tyrol
There would be many more things I could tell you, but I prefer to do so while having a cup of good coffee or tea!
To give you a glimpse of my life, have a look at the pictures. They will narrate much more than I can do.
