Who I am? Well, find it out:

Hello dear SUK2 students and lecturers J

I am 20-year-old Lisa Maria Zarfl and today I am going to tell you what defines me as a person. Firstly, as you can probably guess from my choice of study, I am passionate about foreign languages. I have a good knowledge of English, French and Italian and also Russian was amongst my school subjects. My love of languages and communication goes along with my wanderlust. I have already been to 14 different countries across Europe and I am looking forward to visiting as many other fascinating places as possible. If I am not exploring foreign countries, you will probably find me hanging in the middle of a climbing wall. I definitely have a head for heights and love challenging myself. My friend Kerstin and I have been climbing for five years now and our motto is The only way is up. The next hobby I want to mention is fine arts. I have always loved drawing and learning new stuff about artists and stylistic eras. For this reason, I would probably study Art History, if I didn’t decide to focus on languages. Last but not least I want to tell you about my passion for boating and the sea in general. When I was 16, I got an international driver’s licence for motorboats and a couple of years later I also passed a test that focused on sailing. In my opinion, navigating your own boat through the water towards a beautiful sunset is one of the best things you can do in life. Well, I hope you found out something new and interesting about me and I am looking forward to reading your blogs!

See you in class,
Lisa
