Strawberry Dream

Hi,

Do you like smoothies as much as I do? If the answer is yes, then you'll love the following easy recipe. Today I want to share a strawberry smoothie recipe with you. This smoothie isn't only delicious, but also healthy. The ingredients I used are for two to three people.

Ingredients:
three cups of almond milk (750ml)
two handfuls of strawberries
three teaspoons of chia seeds

Instructions:
- Put the ingredients into a blender and blend everything until smooth.
- If necessary, add more almond milk to get your desired consistency.
- Optionally, you can also add two tablespoons of soy yoghurt.

I hope you like the quick and easy recipe.

Bye for now,

Nicole

Food Diary - Hungary Edition

Hello everyone.

For the I speak food topic I decided to film a short video about some examples of the Hungarian cuisine. On Saturday, the beginning of easter break, I drove to Hungary with my dad. So, I thought it'd be interesting to film a few scenes of the landscape at the beginning and at the end of the video because many of you may haven't been to Hungary before. Now, back to the actual topic, food.

I chose to show you some dishes I really love - except the gulyás soup because I'm vegetarian. ;-) My granny helped to carry out my food diary plan; she prepared the gulyás soup and lángos. Of course, I didn't eat everything on my own. The rest I bought either at a supermarket or at food stalls.

How did I film this video?
Firstly,  I filmed the landscape scenes with my GoPro and the food scenes with my Samsung phone. Unfortunately, I don't own an appropriate camera yet. :-D Secondly, I edited everything on iMovie. Before then I had NO IDEA how editing and iMovie work. But luckily there are some useful tutorials online. And lastly, I did a complete voice-over.

I hope you enjoyed my short trip through the Hungarian cuisine. I wish you all an enjoyable break.

See you then,

Nicole

Who am I?

Hi everyone:

I am Nicole and I was born in the State of Salzburg surrounded by impressive mountains. First of all, what most people don't know about me is that I am half Hungarian.  I grew up bilingual and used to spend nearly every summer in Hungary as my grandparents live there. I am glad that I grew up with Hungarian being my mother language as Hungarian is considered to be a difficult language.  I have never seen myself as a real Austrian girl. In Hungary, however, my friends call me the Austrian girl, but until 2012, when my parents got married, I only had the Hungarian citizenship. Now I'm officially Austrian and Hungarian. I do not feel like I belong to one country more than to the other. It feels more like not knowing where you actually belong.

In my childhood, I really enjoyed keyboarding. I started playing the keyboard at the age of ten and also joined the local accordion club. Yes, accordion because they also needed some keyboard players for their orchestra. The club gives a concert once a year so I also used to play keyboard in front of a large audience. We also recorded a CD once, which was quite fun. Unfortunately, I left the club at the age of 17 due to my upcoming graduation. I still love music and I love festivals. My favorite genres are Reggae, Reggaeton and R&B, but you can also find me on festivals like Balaton SoundLake Festival etc. ;-)

Balaton Sound

The word that describes me the best is wanderlust. I have a passion for traveling. Until now, I have been to some destinations in Europe and Africa aka Egypt. In the future, I would love to travel the world and explore other cultures and nations. Traveling is something that makes me escape the daily life. I also believe that travel is the only thing you can spend money on that will make you richer.
